What is
English Riviera TV is a professional online Lifestyle TV channel featuring the best of local business and tourism. The stars are local characters from in and around the area with a strong emphasis on engaging and involving the community. It will have an asparitional feel and be people led.

Funding
It will be self funding. This will be achieved by sponsorship opportunities and feature production and interesting marketing ideas like Scan and Go. We already have people interested in sponsorship.
The output will be divided into streams. Our USP is that we work "with" local businesses in an accountable way, as in we can demonstrate a return on investment, unlike any other media. It will be unlikely that we will carry vanilla advertising. We are a feature / people led broadcaster that uses information giving as brand builders. Streams could include
l Sailing
l Water Sports
l Food
l Music
To keep the stream fresh each stream will have a featured section. These will be limited to ten businesses at any one time. Once a business has been in the stream for four weeks they will be placed back in the main content stream. This we hope will motivate the business to come up with regular creative content for the output. This benefits the channel and the business.
We are looking to work with South Devon College and other local organisations in content creation and marketing.
Marketing
· YouTube and video sharing sites will be updated regularly
· Content will be repurposed wherever possible
· Social media Face book Foursquare and Twitter to name a few
· Advertising and editorial content will be created for traditional media
· We will offer some magic code that businesses can simply paste once into their website. This will show the monthly video news feed live from the English Riviera.
This will be unlike anything any other offering as we will be updating it AUTOMATICALLY once a month. It will feature up and coming events and editorial 15 / 30 second features.
Each organisation or business taking part will be able to promote their business and demonstrate their commitment to the channel by the use of a Scan and Go label
As an incentive for local business to get involved we are offering 20 free slots in our streams for local businesses that already have quality videos. These will be hosted and promoted by us free for six months.
